Universal Orlando just released some new information regarding their new nighttime show, which will debut on May 8. Indeed, it looks like public performance tests will begin soon. Here's the news (from Universal):
Universal’s Cinematic Spectacular Rehearsals Starting Soon
As we approach the May 8, 2012 grand opening for Universal’s Cinematic Spectacular, we will continue to conduct rehearsals and will also be previewing the show for guests on select nights. [We will soon release] specific dates and times when guest previews will begin.
In addition to that, Universal revealed that the resort is planning on expanding the existing Express service by adding a device (known as Lo-Q) that will tell guests when they can come back to the specific attraction they plan to visit, without having to wait in line at all, it seems. Here you are some additional information about it:
New Universal Ride Reservation System
The upcoming Universal Ride Reservation System will provide guests with an interactive pager to make reservations, one at a time, for Express-accessible attractions throughout their day. We are currently testing this new offering for guests...
More information on both additions should be officially released very soon. Stay tuned.
