On June 4th, Disney officials kicked off a 100-day countdown for thier newest theme park, Hong Kong Disneyland, scheduled to open September 12, 2005.

Hundreds of employess were at the park Friday to celebrate the countdown, during which Disney has planned many promotions to build up excitement for the new park.

Hong Kong Disneyland is a joint venture between the Hong Kong SAR government and the Walt Disney Company.
