we had to miss in June, when we usually go, since Rachel graduated this year, so we decided to go at the holiday....this will be our first time at the Very Merry Christmas Party!

i am super lucky to have two trips scheduled this year
July 18-24 at Pop Century
October 25-November 1 at All Star Movies

We are doing Pops for the first time this October. I love it down in WDW for Halloween. It is the best place to celebate the holiday.
We are planning on going down at the end of june too, but it is a busness trip so we will be staying off site unfortuantly.

ill be leaving for WDW on Friday the 18th...only FIVE more days!!
i think Rachel is looking forward to my visit. she has been working 5 days a week, has class at Disney U on Thursdays, so it will be nice for her to get a 'vacation'....we are staying at Pop (hoping for the 70s, stayed in the 60s last time : )

...ill be leaving on Saturday for a week of fun in the sun and celebration of Halloween plus our birthdays (they will both pass before Rachel comes home in Janary).
we got the Disney Dining Plan with the CM discount and its a great value. i made a reservation for each day with the exception of Beaches and Cream on the day i arrive, coz they dont take them, and tried to get LeCellier for Monday but they are booked solid 
that was going to be Rachel's birthday celebration, so ive got to check and see where else she might want to go over there. we are trying a few new places this time, including Coral Reef and LeCellier will be new for us if we can get in. im thinking we may try Rose & Crown, which we also havent been to before
Rachel went around the World a few weeks ago and sampled some of the things they are offering at the various countries...sounds like they have a great selection. it will be our first time for the Food & Wine Festival. unfortunately, i will miss David Cassidy; just my luck, he will be there during the next week, which is the last week of the festival. (i first saw him in 1972 when i was 15 and ive seem him 3 times since.) Rachel has promised to go and watch him perform and take some pictures for me 
we are going to Mickey's NSS Halloween Party on Thursday, which happens to be Devil's Night....should be a fun time! im dressing as a pirate wench (wanted to be a hippie, but i didnt like any of the costumes we found) and Rachel is going as an indian princess. perhaps ill get to meet Jack if he is out when we pass by!
