I'm still in shock over Betty confronting Don over his past. It was such a powerful scene. And so sad when Don talked about his brother Adam.

Ha ha over Miss Farrell having to walk home by herself. No weekend getaway for you!

Cheers to Joan for whacking her lousy, no-good husband over the head with a vase.

And I'm impressed with Roger for not cheating on Jane(ugh) with the dog food woman. And I'd still like to think Roger carries a torch for Joan.

Mad Men was a good episode this week!

i cant even imagine what it would be like to find out that my husband had been keeping such a secret for all those years, esp from his wife! maybe this will bring Betty and Henry together again....

Joan definitely let the good doctor know what she really thinks! i hope that she does come back into the main story line and i agree, Roger still has feelings for her. he is so different, tho, since he married Jane and the heart attack and all in the first season. his interaction with Don is practically hostile when they have any contact...

Ooh, good episode of Mad Men last night.

I have no clue what'll happen with Betty and Don. Henry may be a lot more stable and dependable than Don, but I don't think Betty knows what she really wants. And it looks like the honeymoon is definitely over between Roger and Jane. I am so excited for the finale next week!

As for other shows, I've started watching Community, Modern Family, and the Middle. Parks and Recreation is getting better.

i cant believe its already the season ending for Mad Men! seems as tho it went by so quickly!

was definitely surprised to see the Peggy is "with" Duck...kinda weird if you ask me. i wonder what Pete is going to do as well.

looks like we will have plenty of cliff-hangers to look forward to next season!

I am fighting a losing battle to keep up with Mad Men on DVR when I am home. I too feel like the season just started. How can it possibly be the end?

^ I completely agree!

And Animator, you must at least watch the last 3 episodes of mad Men. Where Betty confronts Don over his past, where the characters react to the assasination of JFK, and of course the last episode where Don gets his mojo back, Lane Pryce really steps up, and Peggy gets the respect she deserves. Fabulous episode!

^ I know! We watched season 1 again over the summer and it's interesting seeing how much has changed and remembering things that went on. ( I wish Rachel Menken would come back! She was the best of Don's dalliances.)

^ I know! I'm worried about Ken, Paul, Sal, Smitty, Kurt, even Pete's loyal secretary Hildy. It's so hard to wait until next summer.

Hildy is one of my favorite "secondary" characters, too

you know what else, as we were watching the final episode of Season 1 today, i realized that we didnt see Peggy's little boy this season; only mention was when Pete and Trudy were trying to get p/g and she told him about it (so now he knows that he is not the one with the "problem").

he and Peggy's family were in the story a lot in season 2, and then this season just passed it was like they just disappeared...didnt really like that. i thought it was a very good storyline....

Somewhere in our cable lineup, I came across a channel showing the old Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries series! Anyway, it was an episode featuring the Hardy Boys having to solve a case in Acapulco. It was great fun to watch. And seeing Shaun Cassidy in his young prime.

I hope the premiere is sooner rather than later. I can't wait to find out what happens to Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce.
