I recently saw the trailer for Eight Below. It looks like such a great tear jerker. I'm such a sucker for animal movies and this one wis goign to take the cake for me! It is so neat that it is a true story!!

Anyone else hear about this? Are you as excited to see it as I am?

This looks like a "Let's make Tina cry" movie. Just about any animal-based movie has me blubbering. And the fact this is based on a true story, I'll really be emotional. It does look good. And Paul Walker is in it! :D We shall see! Plus, I love huskies!

A good freind of mine went to a SP this weekend and said it was fantastic. It's definitely a tear jerker, I hear the entire theatre was in absolute tears...

By the end things she said the theater was so overcome with emotion, in a positive way, because it was such an incredibly powerful story. I cannot wait to see it. It will alos be really different to see Paul in a family film. Are you a big fan of his??

The previews alone are tear jerking. I'm not a huge fan of Paul's per se, but I have liked his work. He was really good in "Pleasantville." :)

And that's great your friend got to go to a SP. Those are always fun to go to.

Yes, she said just that -- the dogs absolutely stole the show. She joked that the human actors are lucky that they don't allow dogs to receive Oscars or people would be reeeeaaal in trouble.

 That would be pretty funny. I think they should have awards for animals(or atleast their trainers). I can't imagine how much work it is to train that many dogs

I read a review today that said the dogs gave Oscar-caliber performances. :)

I've seen that this film has gotten good reviews. But they also say bring a box full of Kleenixes. So I'm thinking this will probably be a Netflix movie for me. And well, Paul Walker is easy on the eyes. Paul Walker, cute doggies, what more could you ask for?

Well it opens today.
If you can't go see it, why not read about the dogs instead?

^ That's a cute story about all the dogs! :D I want one.

Anyways, it's great for Disney that this made it to #1. I admit, I did end up reading the spoiler for this movie. Oh yah, definitely bring the tissues. I also heard that this is like the old True Life Adventure series that Disney used to make. :D It sounds like an excellent movie, but again
