We have just been informed that the "It's Tough to Be a Bug" attraction found beneath the Tree of Life at Disney's Animal Kingdom has been reopened after one of the faux tree branches fell from the tree:

It's Tough to be a Bug! Reopened to Guests on April 30, 2012




The "It's Tough to Be a Bug!" attraction at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park has been reopened to Guests after the vicinity was inspected and netting installed over the attraction’s entrance and exit walkways. For the time being, the trails around the Tree of Life and the Kid's Discovery Club location will remain closed while we continue to inspect the area and make any necessary adjustments. [The vicinity around the Tree of Life closed because a small branch (weighing approximately five pounds) fell to the ground, away from Guests and Cast. In an abundance of caution, we closed some experiences in the immediate vicinity of the Tree of Life as we inspected it and completed any necessary maintenance.]
