You know after watching Space Jam in Mexico in the hotel over spring break, i got to thinking what if disney did something like that. A new live action/ animation movie where an actor saves the cartoons. Here is the beginning of the story. It is very brief and open for discussions. Feel free to rip my ideas to shreds!

...One night as Mickey is getting ready for bed, a group of mischievous crooks planned the capture of a lifetime. As they watched mickey trudge towards his bed wearing what they thought was the sorcerers hat, they leaped into the room and captured mickey in a sack. Unbeknownst to them, it was only mickeys sleeping cap on his head.
...Later at the villains castle arrived mortimer mouse, pete from steamboat willie, chip and dale, plutos shoulder devil, and the weasels from the adventures of mr. toad with mickey in the sack. They report to malifacent who is played by...robin williams. And they discover that mickey is in his pajamas with the sleeping cap on.
...Meanwhile Minnie, goofy, pluto, donald, and the brooms from fantasia go to mickeys house and get steamboat willie out of the attic to help them save mickey. Before leaving, they decide to make one last stop at the briar patch to ask uncle remus for his help.
...When mickeys friends get to the villains castle, mortimer takes on minnie, pete takes on steamboat willie, plutos shoulder devil drives him nuts, as do chip and dale to donald, the brooms and the weasels duke it out as goofy reads his "how to be a hero" book but always finds himself one step behind the gang. Eventually uncle remus peacefully defeats malifacent through some sort of magical disney story telling technique (VERY OPEN TO INTERPRETATION). The gang eventually gets mickey back and blah blah blah... i dont know. Something with a happy disney ending. Just had a couple ideas and wanted to get them down in the forum. Sorry if you read to this sentence and realized how bored i was today. Im very sorry.

Why do all storys have to have people being rescued. Hmm maybe something like Mickey gets into the real world, and can't get back... ANd he meets robin williams. :wink:

btw I think Disney should so something like that..

Well, because mickey has to be rescued. Any new character might not matter. But mickey, the cartoon idol! The mouse who started it all. Imagine what WDW would be like if mickey was a villain (or even worse, like resident, dead, or not rescued) Not a good scenario.

I think it's a great idea. But I don't like Chip and Dale as villains. They aren't evil just mischievous(sp?) I do think Disney could do well mixing up live action and animation. They've done it before, Pete's Dragon, Song of the South, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, so what's really stopping them now?

Chip & Dale arn't villians...and Robin WiIlliams could never play Maleficent. Only Elanor Audley can...but I don't know if she's still around.

I knew chip and dale wouldnt make villains but they were the only thing that could make donald agnry. except for maybe his nephews. why not robin williams? isnt he mr. disney?

I would really like to see an animated/ live action film staring Mickey and friends, but I'm not so sure about the plot. Keep trying, though.

One thing that is important with a live action/animation is a very strong and prevalent storyline and plot. Characters may be semi-dry, but it has to be easy to follow or...PLOP! Right down the drain.

Keep rethinking it and you'll have one great idea!

My plot was a very rough sketch. I just would be very interested in a live action/animated movie. And John Goodman would make an interesting malifacent.

So malifacent is a woman? In WDW today i saw a poster or something with malifacent on it which appeared to have a nipple on the breast. I dont think disney would put out something like that. Are you sure Ohio?

I'm pretty posiutive it's a woman. Just from the voice and actions in the movie and such.... :?

You know if theres is sarcasm here it's not coming across, it's getting stuck halfway.

I like the idea Mr. Fourth Caballero, everything but the whole Chip and Dale thing........ ummmmmmm NO!!! :cry: Chip and Dale are classic and kids love them, so they can't be involved that way. :?:

I love the Robin Williams idea...good call.

And I really like the Steamboat Willie concept....very Original baby.
