TOPIC: Imagineerings...

Imagineerings... 20 Feb 2006 18:36 #104937

Here is an area where anyone can type down their newest disney idea! I'll add one of my ideas just to get it going....
-Since WDW is one of the only parks that doesn't have a ride like Roger Rabbit's CarToon Spin, I imagine it should. What most likely will happen is it will be put in the old 20K building. What i think should happen is ethier...

A.- Put it in MGM where the old Hunchback theatre was and make it be a Muppet's ride!

or

B.Make it in Epcot where JIYI is and turn it into "Journey into Imagination". Bring back Dreamfinder and make it more like the original. Oh, and add 3D glasses so it's more groovy!

*I'll add more when more ideas come. Now it's your turn!

ok,heres an idea that ive had brewing fir days, and will probably be included in phase 2 if my new MK.
here it is-
hunchback of notredame-escape from the city(temporary)
firstly, this is a water-coaster,with SPINNING boats! The boats will always reach a high top speed, and this will be a very costly, large attraction. It will be located on 20k lagoon.Sorry, but youll have to wiat for the ride to be placed in the park until you can see the full ride-thru

AK should close Camp Minnie/Mickey and move the lion king show into Africa (because that's where the movie is based). Then Camp Minnie/Mickey should become "The North American Territory". A boat ride like Kilamanjaro Safaris called "The Colorado River Adventure" could be added where you could see bears, wolfs, moose, etc.

Here's a couple of my ideas:

a) Move Animation building out of Studios and into a new state of the art building near the Team Disney Building.

b) Turn Animation Court into Playhouse Disney Court- and create new attractions for kids including:

The Wiggles Big Red Car Ride- (story line) The Wiggles have to get to their show but no one can find them, guest must board four person "big red cars" and pick up all the guys and drop them off at the show. The last scene is of a taped show were the Wiggles thank their new "friends" for getting them to the show. Throughout the ride the song "Toot, Toot, Chuga, Chuga, Big Red Car", plays.

Doodlebops Live show sits between Little Mermaid and Wiggles Ride and is a lively, fun 30 min show for the whole family.

In the center of Playhouse Disney Court is a small "Dumbo like ride" based on the Little Einstein's Rocket. Inside kids can push buttons and make music and lighting combinations.

Also in the Court, a kids friendly counter service featuring creative ways to serve everyday foods, ie.. traditional ham and cheese or turkey and cheese on a tortilla sliced and added to halved pickles to look like snails. Very healthy but kid friendly foods. Also parents can buy milk, juice, formula, baby food, and other kid needs.

And to top off the area..... a large stroller parking area for all the strollers bound to be in this area.

c) The animation tour would become a part of an Animation and Imagineering tour which includes tours of both departments, parks, attractions, hotels, and lunch or dinner with an animator and imagineer. Two tours lasting 4 hours can be booked for either the morning or afternoon.

What a great idea...I don't know why it never dawned on me that these animals are not represented in the AK.

That's a current rumor that they want to expand the North America feel over there.
The Wiggles Big Red Car Ride-

Nothing against your idea but dear God shoot me if the Wiggles ever come to a Disney park. :x

Oh, that sucks :( . I was trying to keep it original.

-Here's another one you might have already read by me. The old timekeeper building should be kept but with a different attraction inside. the only difference would be that the 360' building could go a little deeper underground. Then, the 360' screens should cover the whole walls. Finally, rotodrop cars should be added.(outwards drop tower cars with dangle feet. If you don't understand, check out the stunt tower in King's Island.) This could make the ride be like Soarin', except in a UFO in space! I bet no one has thought of that yet!

I was thinking about a milder version of Space Ship Earth, you know, one everyone could enjoy. But the main thing I was thinking about is a Lion King Ride where you out run the stampede, take on scar, things of that nature. Do they already have a Lion King ride?[/quote]

A Lion King ride for Spaceship Earth??

What's wrong with Spaceship Earth the way it is?

Well, I dunno. If it makes two Air Force pilots sick...maybe they should tone it down a grunt. About the Lion King ride, it would be a whole new ride...maybe at Animal Kingdom.

Are you talking about Space Earth or Mission: Space? I have never heard of anyone getting sick on SE. And while I think a number of us on this board agree that SE needs to be updated some, it is still a great ride.

Have a great day!
