Just finished "Eyes of the Dragon," by Stephen King for my Science-Fiction English class. Great book. Now I'm on to "Seventh Son," by Orson Scott Card

As soon as it goes on sale next month I plan on reading "Dean and Me: (A Love Story) " written by Jerry Lewis. I can't wait to read Jerry's take on his relationship with Dean Martin. 8)

In the book, doesnt Ashley join the klan and Scarlett has like 6 kids? Some people argue that the movie is better.

In the book, and movie, Ashley joins a "Politics" club. It's never said, but we all know it's the Klan. It's only mentioned after Scarlett gets attacked and the men go to avenge her honor. In the book, as the movie, that's where Frank Kennedy dies.

Scarlett does have more kids in the book. A boy, by first husband Charles Hamilton, and a girl by Frank Kennedy. I like in the book it's mentioned that Scarlett, being depressed, drinks a lot during her pregnancy and her daughter is born, "different". What we would call Fetal alcohol syndrome today.

Personally, I prefer the book because it goes more into character development and detail.

I"m still on Light of August. I really need to sit down and finish it.

I am currently reading, actually finishing is more correct since there's only two chapters left, John Bellairs' The Doom of the Haunted Opera.

Right now I'm at The Magician's Nephew, which is actually the first book in the Narnia series. Well, it's the book CS Lewis wanted to be first in the Narnia series.

I read Peter Pan a week or two ago as part of my semester-long English project, and just started the Narnia Books on Friday. Peter Pan was awesome, one of the best books I've read in a long time. I'm about a third of the way through the third book in Narnia, The Horse and His Boy, and they are great reading. Really easy, really fast, and really fun.

I read Peter Pan when I was a kid. I really enjoyed it. That, Little Women, and The Wind in the Willows were childhood favorites. Of course, I still enjoy reading them. :)

Woo-hoo! Finally done with Faulkner. \:D/

I"ve now switched to Life with Father, by Clarence Day. IT was a Bestseller in 1935. (I love retro :D )

If you've ever seen the movie Life with Father, this is the book the movie is based upon. IT's the true life stories of Clarence's father and family at turn of the century New York City. They're all family stories told in a very funny way. Most enjoyable. :D

Ok. done with Prince caspian, now I'm in the middle of the Voyage of the Dawn Treader. If we take a direct hit from Wilma and lose power,t hen I'll have plenty of time for reading and finishing up CoN. After Dawn Treader, I've got two more books to go. :)

Well, I actually just started reading the above mentioned book. It's a small book but very difficult to hold secondary to the carpal tunnel surgery in my right hand less than a week ago & carpal tunnel & tendonitis in my left. Ain't life grand? :P
