Hi guys, I've been watching this fiasco unwind on NFL Total Access. Is it just me or do you think Favre has seriously tarnished his reputation? I remember a few years ago he made a statement saying it wasn't his responsibility to help bring new players through. I thought that was one of the most selfish things I've ever heard from a professional sportsman. If you love your team, surely you want them to continue to be successful when you leave. What an ego - now I know why Mary chose Ben Stiller

Of course, if he went to the Jets or Vikings and won a Superbowl, I might have to reconsider if it was all worth it. But I think it's more likely that in 5, 10 or even 50 years time Brett will be asking himself if it was all worth it.

I could not agree more podge. I understand his love for the game, but he was retired. His career with was the Packers. They LOVED him there...and I am sure that most still do. Why not leave with some dignity from the team that has been your home for so long.

Now of course the NE Patriots play the NY Jets twice each season, so I am excited to see him play...and hopeful lose. While they might win some more games with Favre at the helm, I don't see the Jets being a contender anytime soon.

Am I right in saying the fans in New York aren't known for their patience? I seem to remember them booing draft picks in the past. And there is a lot to be said for going out on top. Do you get to many games Ani?

^ I think any team that has had a dynasty at some point does become a little "anxious" with the drafts. No granted you are talking to a fan that is rather biased against NY, but I would have to agree that there has always seemed to be a sense of entitlement about top draft picks and NY, although more so in baseball.

I use to have season tickets to the Patriots with my brothers, cousin, and college roommate. We gave them all up to my old roomie, so I do see my fair share of Pats games. I also know people with season tickets to the Red Sox and Bruins so all around I get to see at least one "live" game in each sport each year. I would like to see more, but with my travel schedule it is tough and when I am home I would honestly spend the time with my wife and child.

What about you?

I've only seen Liverpool a few times. A guy I play football (soccer) with suggested sharing 2 season tickets with 2 other fans if and when they build the new stadium. That's still a few years away but I'll see what happens.

The sport I tend to go to most often is rugby to watch Ulster - I probably get to around 10 games a year. I've been to a few Ireland games, but tickets are very hard to come by.

The only US game I've been to is baseball - Padres at the Mets.

I saw a guy wearing an Ulster rugby shirt while in line for the backstage tour at the Studios.

I have worn my Red Sox and Patriots shirts as far east as London and as far west as Seoul, Korea.

I think it is nice to see people wear shirts from the sports teams around the world.

At WDW especially, I've seen various football/rugby shirts from the Brits. And during American football season, you see various shirts of the NFL teams. Not to mention the various NY Yankees and Boston Red Sox attire.

I've worn a Redskins top at MK - the only time a cast member has ever commented on my attire.

Yes, the Red Sox/Yankees rivalry seems to be a worldwide "issue".

I saw two Red Sox fans bond over their hatred of the Yankees in line for RNRC once. :o

Saturday at Epcot, I saw Liverpool FC represented as well as Manchester United.

You gotta love their spirit if nothing else. And speaking of the BOS/NY rivalry, the Sox are in NY to play the Yankees in a 3-game series starting tonight. It might be the last time that the Sox play in Yankees standium, barring an playoff games since the Yankees will have a new stadium next year.
