Rhys does seem kooky enough to pull off being Luna's father. I can picture it. And Ciaran seems as good a choice as any for Aberforth. ( And besides right now I can't think of anyone else to play him.)

As Ciaran is from Belfast, I'd be quite happy to see him in the role.

Maybe Bill Nighy as Aberforth?

A friend and I were wondering where they'll end the first part of the seventh movie. We're thinking maybe at Bill and Fleur's cottage with the death of Dobby.

I read on Mugglenet that the actor, who voices Dobby, said he would be recording material for the next 2 films. That would suggest he'll make at least a brief appearance in part II but I think his death would be an appropriate break in the story.

Hm, since I dont remember telling Tina Dobby dies, even though she says I told her, which I probably did. You two could've put SPOILER up. I'm only up to book 4 at the moment, and movies through 5. :)

As if we needed any proof Crabbe was bad to the bone. From TMZ.com:
One of the school bullies from the "Harry Potter" movies must have taken a botony class at Hogwarts -- cause cops say the 19-year-old was keeping a weed garden in his home.

Jamie Waylett, the guy who played Vincent Crabb in all five Potter flicks, was arrested in London on Thursday after cops say they found 8 bags of weed in a car Jamie and another man were in.

Later that day, cops tell TMZ they raided Jamie's home -- where officials say cops found a bunch of plants "believed to be cannabis plants and equipment for the cultivation of plants."

Waylett and the other man are due back in court in July.

Warner Brothers has moved HP and the HBP up to July 15 now. Woo-hoo! 2 days early! yea! THis totally makes up for not releasing it to us this past November. :) NOT!
But still, it's good news.

^ this reminds me of when my niece Gina was born...

her father is a BIG race fan, goes to Daytona every year. she was due during Speed Week and so he had to miss the race....she ended up not coming into the world till the day after he would have come home...

my husband sorta has the same problem. he is an avid hunter and both Rachel and my birthdays normally fall during the 2 weeks of buck season here in PA....of course, that doesnt stop him but the year she was born he did miss it!

hopefully the timing will be just right for you guys :) multiple births often seem to come earlier than the due date; what is the expected birthdate?

Our initial due date was 18th August, but the consultant has told us 30th July is probably more appropriate. We could be cutting it pretty fine :)

As for the trailer - I agree it is the best one yet. Thinking of Hogwarts  , we went away for the weekend and stayed in a castle ourselves. Ballygally Castle to be precise, we slept in a tower built in 1625 which they claim is haunted

Maybe the twins will arrive on July 31st and share a birthday with Harry Potter. :cheer:

The featurette video doesn't want to work for me. :( Of course, we've been having internet problems lately so I'll try again later.

We'll be seeing it sometime Wednesday, and then again Thursday with friends.

You know, if you have redheaded twin boys you HAVE to call them Fred and George.
